Hawaiian Quilt and Pillow Shams
made by Yvonne Friel of Moloka‘i, Hawai‘i
This queen-sized Hawaiian quilt, with its defining pink and white lokelani (rose) pattern, was specially made for this bed in 1995 by Yvonne Friel of Molokaʻi, Hawaiʻi. It was created as a replacement for the previous quilt of similar color and design that was made by Ms. Duvachelle of Molokaʻi, which has since worn out with age. Mrs. Friel also crafted a matching set of pillow shams to go with the quilt.
