About Guava:
The guava (psidium guajava) is a low tree native to tropical America, and naturalized in Hawai‘i. It bears lemon-sized fruits which are commonly made into jelly, jam, juice, and sherbet. Medicinal tea was made from the leaf buds, offering a pungent aroma.
