‘Uhaloa

ʻUhaloa is a small shrubby, down-covered plant with blunt, oval-toothed velvety leaves from one to 3-1/2 inches long, conspicuously veined. Flowers are small, yellow, and five-parted, densely clustered at leaf axils. The fruiting capsules are tiny, two-valved, and two seeded.

ʻUhaloa tea is a good way to make a sore throat of cough disappear.

Steep 1 tablespoon of flower clusters in 2 quarts of water.
Boil water, turn off, add flower clusters, cover for 30 minutes.
-Or-
Four clusters per one cup of water.
